Clear Day Treatment utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address the emotional and behavioral challenges of our patients.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is used throughout treatment along with other techniques. This approach helps you detect, identify and correct errors in your perceptions, attitudes and thoughts. Inaccurate perceptions and thinking errors lead to poor decisions; which in turn often lead to self-defeating behavior. As you become more aware of your thoughts, you can begin to challenge them, and rid yourself of such errors. As a result, you will be more likely to make good decisions, behave in beneficial ways, and increase your satisfaction in life. Cognitive techniques are used in individual sessions and group counseling.

All patients will utilize CBT workbooks developed by Changes Company. These workbooks are designed to provide applicable tools and techniques to help patients focus on developing personal coping strategies and changing cognitive, behavioral, and emotional patterns. These workbooks will provide patients with the skills needed to have the life they truly want and deserve.
